Private Functions & Dining
The Oaks Historic Homestead has in a short period built a name for it self
as a gracious dining experience and is recognized for it’s fresh and
local gourmet cuisine.
We are committed to an uncomplicated and fresh approach to our food preparation.
We endeavor to use most produce out of our own organic vegetable garden
and only use seasonal produce. Alternatively The Oaks has a network of Organic
and/or “non Spray” growers and suppliers it can call on. All
dishes are prepared fresh on site and all menus are tailor made to facilitate
each guest’s personal taste and budget. We have no minimum numbers
we cater for but we do have a maximum of between 40 and 45 guests subject
to menu choice. Menus start from $8.50 for Morning Teas. We cater for buffets and set menus alike.

The Oaks Historic Homestead is a perfect venue for a smaller, more intimate wedding. The grounds are a lovely setting for an outdoor ceremony (under the pear trees) or alternatively the large dining room can facilitate the ceremony and breakfast.
